Live webinar Event & Signing Ceremony Celebration

“Green Recovery, Energy Transition and Gender Diversity: from Canada to MENA region, a triple challenge to achieve.”

Improving gender equality and diversity across the energy sector is vital for a successful path towards renewables and clean energy transition. It will require implementing innovative solutions, transforming business models but also fully unlocking talents and ensuring equal professional opportunities for all. If it is a long-term imperative, it can not be a quick fix.

To take action and have a positive impact on this momentum, CEBC’s WOMEN in CLEAN ENERGY (WICE) and Canada’s WOMEN in RENEWABLE ENERGY (WiRE) decided to join their efforts under an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding). The collaboration will allow to boost our initiatives, sharing information, knowledge and best practices with common objectives: to remove barriers and to advance the role and recognition of women working in the renewable energy sector.

To celebrate the launch of our agreement, CEBC’s WOMEN in CLEAN ENERGY (WICE) in collaboration with Canada’s WOMEN in RENEWABLE ENERGY (WiRE) are delighted to organize a virtual live MoU signing ceremony followed by a special webinar event to showcase the contribution of inspiring women leaders in the clean energy sector in Canada and in the MENA region.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 15th of July 2020, 5:00 PM GST (Dubai Time) | 9:00 AM GMT-4 (Toronto Time) and will be opened by H.E. Marcy Grossman, Ambassador of Canada to the UAE and will include speakers from Canada and MENA, including:
