Dubai Golf and Etihad Energy Services Company (ESCO) signed a historic AED 31.6-million energy performance agreement to implement energy conservation measures at Dubai Golf on a guaranteed-energy-saving basis.
Etihad ESCO will offer best practices that will save electricity and water, as well as provide photovoltaic solutions. The project is expected to help Dubai Golf to save 8.59 GWh of electricity and 11.7 Million IG of water annually, which will help it to slash its annual energy bill by AED 4.42 Million and reduce carbon emission by 3,700tonnes.
The contract was signed by Eng. Ali Al Jassim, CEO, Etihad ESCO and Christopher May, CEO of Dubai Golf, on the third day of the 19th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2017.
