Thermodynamic solar: Retrofitting hot water systems in hospitality

In these challenging times for hospitality, reducing the energy bills is an important action to improve revenue per room and therefore their profitability. Domestic hot water is one of the top ECMs (energy conservation measures) to address, as it corresponds to 10% to 15% of the utilities’ costs. Retrofitting such a property raises challenges as investment, ROI, operation, space, and visual impact, among others.
