ENERGY EFFICIENCY WORKING GROUP
The Energy Efficiency Working Group was established in 2017 to provide a forum to discuss policy, development and the advancement of the energy efficiency sector, particularly in the GCC.
PURPOSE
Raising awareness: Aim to raise awareness about energy efficiency and the path to an effective energy transition with government entities/policymakers, businesses, end users and other stakeholders.
Accelerate policy maturity: Engaging more with policymakers/regulations, working on encouraging/providing more incentives for ESCO services, sharing best practices from other parts of the world with local policymakers in the region.
Increase demand/market penetration: Work to understand clients’ needs and promote energy efficiency services.
