Innovation Solar Energy Projects in the MENA Region by Yellow Door Energy

The CEBC Clean Energy Annual Summit is our flagship event of the year where experts and industry leaders from across the globe come together to discuss the clean energy trends, challenges, opportunities and outlook. The summit focuses on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.

Key takeaways from the presentation:

– The solar power purchase agreement (PPA) – Is a contract with a performance guarantee provided to the customers on a solar plant, signed between Yellow Door Energy and the customer.

– Real life cases – Carrefour, Majid Al Futtaim & Classic Fashion. “Carrefour power plant is a living example of 17 MW capacity that generates 29 GW hrs of energy, resulting in 22.8 million JDs of energy savings while reducing 20,000 tons of carbon emissions per year.” “Classic Fashion was a fast-track project constructed only in 8 MThs. It has utilized two different interconnection lines complying with grid impact studies output.”

– In addition to solar, Yellow Door Energy also provides other services including energy storage, water efficiency systems, and energy efficiency solutions such as lighting, cooling services, and EV chargers.
