Mhairi Main Garcia
Mhairi is a partner at international law firm Dentons and the Middle East regional head of the firm’s energy, transport and infrastructure practice. Mhairi’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure, in particular advising renewables, including solar (CSP and PV, utility scale and C&I), wind, waste-to-energy and energy efficiency. She advises developers, lenders, governments and contractors on project development, regulatory matters and M&A.
Mhairi has a passion for renewables and clean energy and, for Mhairi, CEBC is an extension of that passion. Mhairi has had the privilege to sit on the board of CEBC since 2014 and would be very grateful to receive the continued trust of the CEBC members and have the honour of serving a further term on the board. As such, Mhairi would:
- work together with the CEBC team, fellow board members, the CEBC members and wider community to achieve CEBC’s aspirations;
- concentrate on outreach and the opportunities which the current online focus may offer in relation to reaching out to new members of CEBC;
- promote increased participation of CEBC members in CEBC’s activities, developing a sense of ownership amongst members;
- continue to spearhead the growth in activities of Women in Clean Energy (WICE), a programme which not only provides a platform for women in the clean energy sector to meet and network, but assists in developing their careers in the sector.
