Mohammed is the Regional General Manager for GE’s Vernova Grid Solutions Power Transmission Services META Region “Middle East, Turkey Africa”.

In the role, Mohammed is managing a full P&L responsibility for a business profile of 80 M region. Mohammed brings more than 15 years of experience in technical and commercial capacities across various industries including power generation, utilities, manufacturing, and sustainable developments. He served in global roles across various geographies including the United States, France, and the UAE.

Moreover, Mohammed is currently serving as a board member in various professional and private organizations. He is a board member and chief sustainability officer for Diamond Developers a leading real estate developer specialized in sustainable development and the mastermind behind delivering The Sustainable City project in Dubai. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Council member for the Clean Energy Business Council CEBC a non-profit regional professional organization promoting and accelerating the shift to clean energy.

On the other hand, Mohammed has been continuously active with national and international professional organizations including chairing the IEEE Young Professionals UAE chapter for more than 4 years Mohammed has been actively engaged in various working groups and been a speaker in several webinars, workshops, seminars, and conferences related to the energy sector.

Mohammed received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the American University in Dubai and graduated his master’s degree in Electrical Power Systems with honors from the University of Bath in UK.
